Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition
Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) Tables. We usually have 2 tables going - one starts at 5pm and one at 6pm. LFR games are for our more experienced D&D players. If you're interested in playing in an LFR adventure - check out the details on the Wizards web-site. We take sign-ups to reserve spots at these tables - so call the store to book a spot - 604-261-4588.
For our newer players or those of you with less time on your hands, at 7pm we will be running a Dungeon Delve. A Dungeon Delve is a shorter 1.5 - 3 hour single encounter adventure. The encounters string together each week to provide a complete adventure if you can make it in each week (but don't worry if you can't). It helps if you can bring in a character already, but we can help you build one if your not sure how (just come in a bit early). Each month the level of the characters required changes, so call the store to book a spot and find out what level character to bring.
Pokemon League Play
We have an official Pokemon League - come join us for some Pokemon fun.
This month we are using the unlimited format - meaning you can use cards from any Pokemon set. Bring your own 60 card deck containing any amount of basic energy cards and up to 4 copies each of any other card from any set. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn points - 10 points per game with 10 bonus points if you win. Earn enough points to get prizes! This is casual / league play - it is not a sanctioned tournament and will not earn you any ratings points. For more information on league play - please refer to the Pokemon-TCG web-site.
Entry fee: Free!!!
Prizes: Based on your point totals - the more you play, the more you get. For example at 110 points you earn a special 2-3 card booster pack. You don't have to get all 110 points on the same day - come back each week and keep adding to your point total.
League play on Sunday from approximately Noon till 3:00pm. League play is casual - you can arrive late, get in a few games and leave early if needed. Most players tend to show up around 1pm. Due to other events starting on Sunday afternoon around 4pm, we ask players to make room if needed (i.e., if you are still playing when the other event is supposed to start - please allow the other game to begin).
Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament

This is an official UDE Sanctioned Hobby League event.
Bring in your minimum 40 card deck, with at most 3 of any one card. This tournament will be "Advanced Format". Please check http://www.yugioh-card.com for a list of forbidden and limited cards. Enrty Fee: $5.00
Prizes:

The prize pool consists of champion or tournament packs while supplies last, or boosters of the most recent set we have in stock. Size of the pool depends on the number of players in the event (generally 1 pack per player in the tournament). Prize pool is split between the top 2 (9 or less people), or top 4 (10 or more people). The winner gets at least 50% of the prize pool.
Additional prizes are given away at the last tournament of the month based on total match wins for the month (and if that is tied - number of events played will be used). So the more often you play, the better your chance for one of these prizes. Additional prizes may include some of the following items depending on availability: playmats, t-shirts, parallel rare cards, or booster packs.

Side decks of exactly 15 cards are optional. Tournament will start approximately at 1:00pm, please try to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Standard floor rules will be followed.
Enrty Fee: $5.00
Prizes:
Participate in 3 or more Hobby League events (at either store) in January and receive a Hobby League participation parallel rare while supplies last (one per player per month).
Pokemon Rising Rivals Booster Draft
Help us celebrate the release of the new set - Rising Rivals with a fun booster draft.
Entry: $15
Each player will receive 3 packs of Rising Rivals. After everyone has been assigned a seat, everyone opens a pack, selects a card, and passes the remainder to the person on their left. Pick and pass until all the cards have been chosen. Then on to the second pack, but we pass to the right. Third pack is back to the left. At the end - each player should have 30 cards. Players choose some of the cards they drafted, and they add basic energy (which the store will provide - please return it after the draft) to create a 40 card deck. We play an age bracketed tournament with our decks using only 4 prize cards per game. The top players in each age bracket will be awarded additional booster pack prizes.
Players keep all of the cards they drafted.
The draft takes place immediately after our hobby league, so join us in the morning for hobby league, and then come out and play in the draft.
Casual World of Warcraft TCG Night!
Format: Open Gaming, Raids, Two-Headed Ogres, constructed Gurubashi Grand Melees, Trading and other shinnanigans.
The idea: WoW is actually a lot of fun to play casually since it has a lot of fantasy elements and adventuring elements in it. In that vein We've set up an evening (with new later hours) where you can come and play for fun instead of standings. Bring down a min 60 card deck . Theme Decks and Raid decks are definetely the way to go so bring on that Stalling/Control//Healer because Rida's Paladin could use some help.
