What: Legend of the 5 Rings is a Collectible card game where you take control of a clan of samurai in a fantasy setting and battle for domination against other clans on the battlefield, in the courts and even on spiritual realms. Build a deck of abilities and equipment to use with your deck of samurai, magical shugenja and politicos to defend your homeland!

Friday Night Magic - Renfrew St.
Format: Standard (Bring your own 60 card standard legal deck. If you're not sure if you're deck is legal, come in a bit early and we'll look it over for you.)
Entry: $5. 100% of entry fees go into the prize pool.
- 1st place: Foil prize card, 50% of prize pool as store credit
- 2nd place: Foil prize card, 30% of prize pool as store credit
- 3rd and 4th place: 10% each of the prize pool as store credit
- 2 randmon door prizes of foil prize cards
These are DCI sanctioned events. Straight swiss - no cut (which means you will play in all rounds whether you win or lose).
Number of rounds will depend on attendance:
- 8 players - 3 rounds
- 9-16 players - 4 rounds
- 17-32 players - 5 rounds
- 32+ players - 6 rounds
Each round takes about an hour, we'd like to start promptly at 6pm, but call if you're going to be a few minutes late.

Draft price of $15.00. ($5 if you bring your own packs.) We put $5 of store credit into the prize pool for each person in the draft.
- 1st place: Foil prize card, 50% of prize pool
- 2nd place: Foil prize card, 30% of prize pool
- 3rd and 4th place: 10% each of the prize pool
- 2 randmon door prizes of foil prize cards
NOTE: If we have 14 or more people in the draft, we will split into 2 pods. Wizards Event Reporter will be used to determine final standings after the swiss rounds.
If you're not sure how to draft, come in early or on another day and we'll be happy to explain it to you. In a nutshell - you get 3 booster packs, open your pack, pick a card, and pass it to the person next to you. You continue picking and passing until you have 45 cards which you keep. You build a minimum 40 card deck from the cards you selected - the store provides the basic lands (please remember to return them at the end of the night). Then we play a small tournament to determine the winner.
These are DCI sanctioned events. Straight swiss - no cut.

Warmachine League: Blasted Heath!
What: The Blasted Heath Warmachine league runs from the 7th to the 26th of june. During that time your battles will count towards your factions control of the online worldwide map campaign and the top spot on the ladder.
Info: Before you play a game in store choose a location on the online map and then make sure your using one of the territorial bonuses that your faction has. After the game is over simply let our staff know who played and who won and we'll do the rest.

Come alone - it's a great way to meet new people, or bring your friends. It's cheaper than going out to the movies! It's better than staying home - you don't have to clean up afterwards! Bring in your minimum 40 card deck, with at most 3 of any one card. This tournament will be "Advanced Format". Please check http://www.yugioh-card.com for a list of forbidden and limited cards. Side decks of exactly 15 cards are optional. Tournament will start approximately at 6:00pm, please try to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Standard floor rules will be followed.
Entry Fee: $3.50
Prizes:Booster packs, turbo packs, and/or equivalent store credit for the top players. The more players - the bigger the prize pool.
