Friday Night Magic - Renfrew St. Format: Booster Draft - Core Set 2011. We will be drafting the new set (M11) from July 16 until the end of July, we will switch back to standard in August. Entry: $15, or $5 if you have your own packs. $5 of your entry fees go into the prize pool.

What: Bring your Hordes force (or Warmachine force if you don't yet have a Hordes army) to the Primal MK2 release tournament where your army will grow and evolve until it's ready for the final confrontation! Crush everyone before you to be named the Genesis Champion or win more battles than any of your own faction to win a faction coin for Trollbloods, Circle of Orboros, Skorne or Legion of Everblight!
Rules: Please download and acquaint yourselves with the rules for list building and tournament play as they are very specific >>>link to rules<<< Note on list building: We will be using a list building range of 25/35/50pts instead of the range listed in the rules.
Details: Doors open at 11am and registration is over at 11:45am. Please arrive on time so we can start the tournament on time. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn stamps - one stamp per game. Earn enough stamps to get great prizes! NOTE: If we have 14 or more people in the draft, we will split into 2 pods. Wizards Event Reporter will be used to determine final standings after the swiss rounds. If you're not sure how to draft, come in early or on another day and we'll be happy to explain it to you. In a nutshell - you get 3 booster packs, open your pack, pick a card, and pass it to the person next to you. You continue picking and passing until you have 45 cards which you keep. You build a minimum 40 card deck from the cards you selected - the store provides the basic lands (please remember to return them at the end of the night). Pokemon League Play We have an official Pokemon League - come join us for some Pokemon fun. We use the unlimited format - meaning you can use cards from any Pokemon set. Bringyour own 60 card deck containing any amount of basic energy cards and up to 4 copies each of any other card from any set. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn stamps - one stamp per game. Earn enough stamps to get great prizes! This is casual / league play - it is not a sanctioned tournament and will not earn you any ratings points. For more information on league play - please refer to the Pokemon-TCG web-site. Entry fee: Free!!! Prizes: Earn stamps to get great promo cards and other prizes from time to time. League play on Sunday runs from approximately Noon till 3:00pm. League play is casual - you can arrive late, get in a few games and leave early if needed. Most players tend to show up around 1pm. We often run sanctioned tournaments on Sunday during or after the league if there is enough interest. Pokemon HS - Undaunted Booster Draft Come out and celebrate the release of the newest Pokemon Set. Each player receives 3 packs of the new set, and players will be seated in draft pods of 5-8 players. Players open a pack, pick a card and pass the rest to the person on their left. Keep picking and passing until you finish the first pack. Second pack goes to the right, and third back to the left. You keep all the cards you drafted. When the drafting is done, players build a 40 card deck and can borrow basic energy cards from the store if needed. We then play a 4 prize card tournament - with additional pack prizes to the top players in each age bracket. Every player plays in each round no matter if you win or lose. Price: $15 Registration will start at Noon, and we'll start the draft at 1pm. Please call if you will be late. We should be done by around 5pm or earlier - it depends on how many people show up.
