Pokemon League Play We have an official Pokemon League - come join us for some Pokemon fun. We use the unlimited format - meaning you can use cards from any Pokemon set. Bringyour own 60 card deck containing any amount of basic energy cards and up to 4 copies each of any other card from any set. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn stamps - one stamp per game. Earn enough stamps to get great prizes! This is casual / league play - it is not a sanctioned tournament and will not earn you any ratings points. For more information on league play - please refer to the Pokemon-TCG web-site. Entry fee: Free!!! Prizes: Earn stamps to get great promo cards and other prizes from time to time. League play on Sunday runs from approximately Noon till 3:00pm. League play is casual - you can arrive late, get in a few games and leave early if needed. Most players tend to show up around 1pm. We often run sanctioned tournaments on Sunday during or after the league if there is enough interest. Tournaments have an entry fee and booster pack prizes - all participants receive some form of prize. Start: 11:00 am

Magic the Gathering - Scars of Mirrodin Pre-Release Registration will open at 11am, and packs will be handed out at 11:45am. Registration closes at Noon. Format: Sealed - 6 packs Price: $32.50* Each player will be given 6 packs of the new set from which to build a minimum 40 card deck (the store will provide the lands). Players will play in a swiss tournament - you keep playing whether you win or lose. The number of rounds will depend on the numberplayers in the event:
Prizes**: Prizes will be based on your record - all players with a winning record will win at least 1 pack. I.e., in a 5 round tournament - 3-2 will get you at least 1 pack. Additional door prizes will be handed out during the event.

** Prize structure may be altered if required to meet Wizards of the Coast event policies.
