Bringyour own 60 card deck containing any amount of basic energy cards and up to 4 copies each of any other card from any set. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn stamps - one stamp per game. Earn enough stamps to get great prizes! This is casual / league play - it is not a sanctioned tournament and will not earn you any ratings points. For more information on league play - please refer to the Pokemon-TCG web-site. Each player will be given 5 Duelist Revolution booster packs and a promo card (while wupplies last) just for participating. Juniors are guaranteed at least one pack as prize. If you're not sure what "modified constructed" means, come in for our free hobby league (starts at Noon). Bring in your favourite game, or play one of the dozens of games we have open in the store. Come alone - it's a great way to meet new people, or bring your friends. It's cheaper than going out to the movies! It's better than staying home - you don't have to clean up afterwards! Friday Night Magic - Granville St. Format: Booster Draft Draft price of $15.00. ($5 if you bring your own packs.) We put $5 of store credit into the prize pool for each person in the draft.
NOTE: If we have 14 or more people in the draft, we will split into 2 pods. Wizards Event Reporter will be used to determine final standings after the swiss rounds. If you're not sure how to draft, come in early or on another day and we'll be happy to explain it to you. In a nutshell - you get 3 booster packs, open your pack, pick a card, and pass it to the person next to you. You continue picking and passing until you have 45 cards which you keep. You build a minimum 40 card deck from the cards you selected - the store provides the basic lands (please remember to return them at the end of the night).
