If you're not sure how to draft, come in early or on another day and we'll be happy to explain it to you. In a nutshell - you get 3 booster packs, open your pack, pick a card, and pass it to the person next to you. You continue picking and passing until you have 45 cards which you keep. You build a minimum 40 card deck from the cards you selected - the store provides the basic lands (please remember to return them at the end of the night). Pokemon Booster Draft Entry: $15 Registration opens at Noon, tournament will start at 1pm. Each player receives 3 booster packs of the new set (as long as we get ours on time). Players will be randomnly seated in pods. You open your first pack, pick one card from it, and pass the rest to the person on your left. Next you pick one from the cards passed to you, etc... until you've picked a packs worth. The second pack we pass right, and the third is back to the left. You use the 30 cards you drafted, and the store provided energy to build a 40 card deck. Then we play a 4 prize card tournament. Additional booster packs are awarded to the winner in each age bracket. NOTE: We have to run this on Saturday due to the Yu-Gi-Oh! sneak peak on Sunday. Start: 6:00 pm

Pokemon League Play We have an official Pokemon League - come join us for some Pokemon fun. We use the unlimited format - meaning you can use cards from any Pokemon set. Bringyour own 60 card deck containing any amount of basic energy cards and up to 4 copies each of any other card from any set. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn stamps - one stamp per game. Earn enough stamps to get great prizes! This is casual / league play - it is not a sanctioned tournament and will not earn you any ratings points. For more information on league play - please refer to the Pokemon-TCG web-site. Entry fee: Free!!! Prizes: Earn stamps to get great promo cards and other prizes from time to time. League play on Sunday runs from approximately Noon till 3:00pm. Pokemon League Play We have an official Pokemon League - come join us for some Pokemon fun. We use the unlimited format - meaning you can use cards from any Pokemon set. Bringyour own 60 card deck containing any amount of basic energy cards and up to 4 copies each of any other card from any set. (We have pre-constructed decks for sale in the store if you don't have a deck.) Play different opponents and earn stamps - one stamp per game. Earn enough stamps to get great prizes! This is casual / league play - it is not a sanctioned tournament and will not earn you any ratings points. For more information on league play - please refer to the Pokemon-TCG web-site. Entry fee: Free!!! Prizes: Earn stamps to get great promo cards and other prizes from time to time. League play on Sunday runs from approximately Noon till 3:00pm. League play is casual - you can arrive late, get in a few games and leave early if needed. Most players tend to show up around 1pm. We often run sanctioned tournaments on Sunday during or after the league if there is enough interest. It's cheaper than going out to the movies! It's better than staying home - you don't have to clean up afterwards! Don't worry if you can't show up right at 5pm, new games start whenever we get enough interested people, and we have space for lots of games at the same time. This is a no charge event - yes FREE!!! Friday Night Magic - Granville St. Format: Booster Draft Draft price of $15.00. ($5 if you bring your own packs.) We put $5 of store credit into the prize pool for each person in the draft.
NOTE: If we have 14 or more people in the draft, we will split into 2 pods. Wizards Event Reporter will be used to determine final standings after the swiss rounds. If you're not sure how to draft, come in early or on another day and we'll be happy to explain it to you. In a nutshell - you get 3 booster packs, open your pack, pick a card, and pass it to the person next to you. You continue picking and passing until you have 45 cards which you keep. You build a minimum 40 card deck from the cards you selected - the store provides the basic lands (please remember to return them at the end of the night).
